Plan, organize, coordinate, and direct the work of construction projects within the engineering division in all phases of the construction life cycle from initiation to completion.

Obtaining all necessary regulations ,permits and licenses from appropriate authorities. Performed difficult and complex field assignments involving the development, execution, supervision, and coordination of all technical aspects of a construction project.

Administrate construction contracts, including negotiating with contractors and issuing change orders, reviewing work to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, schedules and budgets. Review and respond to submittals, RFIs, inspection logs, quality assurance reports, and punch lists.

Walk through site visits to monitor the progress of construction, monitoring labor compliance, quality assurance inspection of the contractor’s work to confirm compliance with contract requirements and approved drawings.

Coordinate the functions of the estimating, scheduling, purchasing, accounting and operations departments as they relate to the progress and completion of the project.

Build and maintain positive working relationships with coworkers, clients, contractors, construction workers and city employees using principles of good customer service.

Used scheduling software and project Management Software to update schedules, track progress, and document project progression.

Provided needed resources (manpower, equipment and materials) from start to finish of the project with attention to budgetary limitations and ensure adherence to all health and safetystandards.

To see that the Project Schedule, incorporating dates and times for Owner decisions, availability of design information, procurement of materials and subcontracts, lead times for fabrication, and field installation, is established and maintained.

Interacted with the interior design team during pre construction to order the finish materials by using softwares techniques to take quantity and area takeoffs and getting estimates from different vendors.

Document control Acquisitions required for the construction of the project Refinement of scope Identifying items that have delivery dates that impact the schedule Purchasing of trades and materials Management and scheduling of the project Understanding manpower operations Materials applications Building code issues

Managed Project cost control duties and prepared supporting documentation to track the financial strategy of the project in relation with progress of the work.

REQUIREMENTS:
Requires master’s degree in civil engineering, construction or Related and 24 months of experience working as a project manager (construction), construction manager or related occupations. Proficiency required in the following skills:
